OCT 10, 2018: Sanghvi Brands, which operates luxury spas in the United States, Middle East, Sri Lanka and India for luxury hotels such as Ritz Carlton. JW Marriott, W Hotels and Intercontinental Hotels and Kerala Ayurveda, which owns and operates the Ayurvedagram Wellness Resort in Bengaluru have set up a 50:50 joint venture to launch Ayurvedagram Wellness Resorts and Ayurvedagram Spa in Spa concepts in markets like the US, Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East.

Darpan Saghvi, promoter and managing director of Sanghvi Brands said Ayurvedagram Wellness Resorts will be the world’s first hospitality management company focused on managing resorts dedicated to therapeutic Ayurvedic treatments. Ayurvedagram will manage resorts between 30 keys and 100 keys.

“We are currently in discussions with prospective property owners in Europe, South East Asia, Middle East, USA and India to launch the first set of Ayurvedagram Wellness Resorts through the joint venture,” Sanghvi said

The Ayurvedagram Spa in Spa concept, will offer an Ayurvedic spa menu to large branded luxury hotels which can be introduced in the existing spas of their hotels. The concept will extend beyond the spa to have Ayurvedagram inspired items in the food menu, Ayurvedagram inspired yoga and other fitness offerings in the fitness centres, and other Ayrurveda inspired touchpoints that will be available in the hotels.

Kerala Ayurveda Limited’s interests are spread across academies, wellness resorts, hospitals, clinics, products and services across India and the US. KAL produces over 400 products and services about 70,000 patients per year.

Sanghvi Brands is one of the few spa management companies globally to be listed on a stock exchange.
