How to Use?
- Dasamoolakaduthrayam Kwath: As the name indicates, it is a Kwath or decoction prepared from the famous Dasamoola ingredients. 'Dasa' means ten and 'moola' means roots. These ten roots are grouped under the name Dasamoola. They are very potent traditional medicines that have many health benefits.
- Health Benefits: Dasamoolakaduthrayam Kwath reduces inflammation and balances the Doshas. It is a herbal antitussive, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, and mucolytic.
- Pain and Inflammation Relief: This decoction eases the body pain and inflammation that accompany a bad cold and cough.
- Dosha Balancing: Dasamoolakaduthrayam Kwath helps balance the Doshas in the body.
- Bilva (Aegle marmelos): The Bael or Bilva tree balances all the three Doshas. By balancing Pitta Dosha, it relieves ulcers, inflammations, and Pitta-related fevers in Ayurvedic medicine.
- Syonaka (Oroxylum indicum): This herb has anti-inflammatory and pain relief properties, making it a good ingredient for preparing medicine for cough and cold.
- Gambhari (Gmelina arbora): A general Ayurvedic tonic for relief from weakness. It relieves Vata and Pitta Dosha imbalances.
- Patala (Stereospermum suaveolens): It has diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties. It balances the three Doshas and is used in Ayurvedic medicine for blood-related problems.
- Agnimantha (Premna integrifolia): Known for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties, used in Vata disorders and traditional cold-cough medicine.
- Salaparni (Desmodium gangeticum): This herb is used in Ayurveda as an anthelmintic, immunity-stimulating, anti-catarrhal, antioxidant, febrifuge, carminative, expectorant, nervine tonic, diuretic, anti-diarrheal, and stomachic. It balances Vata and Kapha Doshas.
- Prasniparni (Uraria picta): Used in traditional medicine as an anti-inflammatory and anti-infective.
- Brahati (Solanum indicum): An Ayurvedic anti-inflammatory herb.
- Kantakari (Solanum surattense): Used in traditional medicine as an antitumorigenic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, diuretic, and antipyretic.
- Goksura (Tribulus terrestris): Balances Vata and Pitta Doshas.
- Sunthi (Zingiber officinale): Ginger, regarded as a universal medicine in Ayurveda. It supports Agni, the digestive fire, helps digestion, boosts immunity, and is excellent for Ama-related problems. It calms Vata Dosha and balances Kapha Dosha. Used in home remedy cold-cough medicine.
- Maricha (Piper nigrum): Black Pepper, balances Kapha and Vata Doshas, aggravates Pitta Dosha, supports digestive fire (Agni), and is used in Ayurveda as an analgesic and antipyretic. Used for cough and cold treatment.
- Pippali (Piper longum): Pacifies Vata and Kapha Doshas, improves metabolism, and is used in Ayurveda as an analgesic and antipyretic.
- Vasa (Adathoda vasica): Balances Kapha and Pitta Doshas, used in Ayurveda as an anti-allergic, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antimicrobial, and styptic.
