- Vidari: It is a cooling, nourishing tonic. Because of its cooling nature, it provides a soothing effect and helps with the burning sensation in the body.
- Shatavari: Also known as asparagus racemosus. It has antioxidant properties that help in preventing free radical damage and in relieving cough.
- Ashwagandha: An ancient medicinal herb that helps in reducing blood sugar levels, decreases cortisol levels (the stress hormone), increases muscle mass and strength, and reduces inflammation.
- Gambhari: Known as gmelina arborea, one of the dashamoola roots. It is helpful in balancing Vata and Pitta doshas, treating chronic respiratory conditions, acting as a cardiac tonic, and improving blood production.
- Ela: Used to cure indigestion, nausea, vomiting, and expel phlegm from the body. It is very beneficial in lung congestion and other pulmonary diseases, and it helps pacify Vata and Kapha doshas.
- Ideal for children and adults. Both genders: men and women can consume it.
- For regular use as medicine, it is administered in a dose of a half teaspoon once or twice a day, before food.
- Usually, hot milk is advised along with this medicine or you can take it as directed by your physician.
- Avoid deep-fried foods, heavy-to-digest non-vegetarian foods, aerated drinks, smoking, and excess alcohol.
